Makeup Removal Tips for a Healthier Skin

Although unknown to many, improper way of removing make up can really damage the skin.  There are two big mistakes that people tend to make when removing their makeup.  One of this is that makeup is not removed completely.  The second is that most people used the wrong products to remove their makeup.  Both of these can be disastrous for our skin’s integrity.  Both of these practices can clog the pores and coat the skin making it hard to breathe properly.  Removing make up does not need Science, although it can be done in more friendly way to the skin than what skin products manufacturers would want you to believe.  Removing makeup can be done cheaply.

Many skin care products manufacturers would want the consumers to believe that soap is harmful to the skin.  Although some soaps really are harmful it is only because of the many toxins loaded with them.  If you looked for a totally toxin-free soap, then there would be no problem with using soap as facial cleanser.  An effective and very good tool for cleaning the makeup on our face and as well as the airborne toxins on our skin is the use of soap and wash cloth.  Lightly scrubbing your face with wash cloth will remove your skin’s makeup, impurities and dead skin cells which other makeup removal methods can leave behind.

However, always remember that soaps are not meant to moisturize the skin but instead to clean it.  Therefore, make sure that you rinse the soap thoroughly from your skin.

Guy’s Hair Care Tips

Our hair plays a vital role in our overall appearance.  It makes sense if we will keep it well maintained.  Below are simple tips for hair care for guys, which will allow them to keep their hair shiny and healthy

First of all, avoid towel drying your hair cause it is one of the major causes of hair damage.  When your hair is wet, it is very much vulnerable to damage.  The proper way of towel drying your wet hair is to shake out the excess water first and then stroke it in one direction rather than rubbing it vigorously with the towel.

A good hot towel is refreshing not only to the hair and scalp but also to the entire body. However, it can cause havoc on scalp and hair.  Water that is really hot can remove much essential oils from the hair and scalp which leads to dryness.  Instead, just rinse with lukewarm water.

As much as possible, avoid chemical treatments for hair for it can leave your hair dull and dry.

Use good conditioner and shampoo to add elasticity and moisture and as well as to keep it clean.  This can also make the hair cuticle smooth, enough to make it shine.
